House in Texas with foundation problems. Due to the dry conditions, the inside of the house is settling and causing doors to stick, drywall to crack, etc.
I know people use soaker hoses to maintain the perimeter of a house, but will soaker hoses also add moisture to the middle of the home…or is there another method I should be considering?
I’m not thrilled about the idea of installing piers, as it would be very expensive. I do have some piers already installed on the perimeter of the house.
Metal Hose Nozzle Pistol Sprayer- Auto Shut-Off, Saver 6 position
We do not have a snap-on dealer in St.John’s anymore, but I need to purchase some rubber water saving hose nozzle just like Snap-on’s YA297(Bluepoint). It’s a 9" nozzle that pretty much looks like a small piece of rubber hose that you just bend to turn it on.

Apex AquaPure Neverkink Eco-Smart and Family Safe Garden Hose
I recently just purchased a brand new hose. The plastic threaded ring part at the end that you screw into a nozzle cracked and fell off. All I have now is bare hose. How do I replace the plastic part at the end, and can I replace it with a metal one?
Thank you for your help!

I bought some soaker hoses and now am not sure if that is the same as a "drip" hose. Also should I snake it around the plants like a sound wave shape or just straight through?
I was just given some water lilys and irises. I have no idea how to introduce them to an existing outside water area with decorative fish. Does anyone know if they need to be planted or can they be free floating? I only know that they are lilys and irises. Not the type or anything. The holding area the fish are in is not a pond yet. We are thinking of building one. The fish were left here. I have the plants in a bucket at the moment. Should I dump them in with the fish until I know what to do with them?
May I ask…..what is sharp sand? And if the water area is deep enough and the plants are submerged using the planters will that kill them?
It’s about a foot or so down, is green, smaller than a garden hose, and is rubber again like a garden hose. Does anyone think they know what it is please? I did call columbia gas before I dug and they said I had no gas lines in the back yard. It’s either water out to my detached garage, electricity, or gas?
It’s at one end of the hole, would it be bad to plant a post there?
